What items are forbidden at the Last Supper Museum?

There are several things that are forbidden at the Last Supper Museum, to guarantee the conservation of the masterpiece and the safety and comfort of all visitors:
- Food and beverages
- Playing music (even at low volume)
- Smoking both inside and outside on the premises of the museum (both regular and e-cigarettes)
- Access to animals, except for guide dogs and therapy animals, provided they are accompanied by medical certification
- Carrying out any promotional or paid activity or service
- Taking professional photos or videos, unless previously requested and authorized in writing by the Museum Management
- Speaking loudly, running, or sitting or lying on the ground
- Talking on the phone in the museum and inside the Refectory; mobile phone ringtones must be silenced during the visit

Please note that umbrellas, backpacks, suitcases and large objects in general must be left in the lockers near the ticket counter.

The Last Supper opening hours are the same throughout the year, Tuesday to Sunday.

Museum: 8:15 AM to 7:00 PM

Ticket office: 8:00 AM to 6:45 PM

Entrance

The main entrance to the Museum is the one mentioned above. But before entering, you have to go through the ticketing kiosk, approximately 10 meters to the left of the main entrance, to have your IDs checked and to leave any luggage or big bags you might have.

Food

While the Last Supper is painted in a refectory, only painted figures are allowed to eat inside! But the Museum is in the center of Milan, so you will find plenty of opportunities to taste great food nearby.

There are lockers to leave large bags and luggage, which are forbidden inside, as well as bathrooms, a bookshop, and multilingual leaflets to provide information to visitors.
